SoFi Stadium

Los Angeles

Sofi Stadium is the newest venue of the World Cup, opening in 2020.  The last time LA hosted World Cup games in 1994 they were played in the famous Rose Bowl stadium. You may remember the legendary 1994 men's World Cup final and the iconic 1999 women's final with Brandi Chastain's famous penalty celebration.

SoFi will play host to the United States opening match versus Paraguay on June 12th!

MetLife Stadium

New York/New Jersey

Metlife Stadium will get the honor of hosting the 2026 World Cup Final, as well as 7 other matches throughout the tournament. Metlife is home to NFL franchises the Giants and Jets. Its predecessor, Giants Stadium, hosted the 1994 World Cup semifinal where Italy beat Bulgaria 2-1. It is the third biggest host venue.

AT&T Stadium

Dallas

Home of the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium will host the most matches of any venue, with 9. This includes the Semi Final on July 14th. 1994 World Cup hughlights include Klinsmann's volley and Branco's free-kick winner. The venue can claim the title of largest stadium of this world cup

Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Atlanta

One of the most sustainable stadiums in the world, it opened in 2017. The retractable roof and 360° halo video board makes it a great host.

Home of the Atlanta Falcons, it will hold the Round of 16 match on July 7th.

GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium

Kansas City

Arrowhead Stadium (referred to as Kansas City Stadium for the tournament) will host six matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The lineup includes four group-stage matches, one Round of 32 knockout match on July 3, and a quarterfinal match on July 11, 2026.

NRG Stadium

Houston

NRG Stadium in Houston will host seven matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The schedule includes five group-stage matches (June 14–26) and two knockout round matches, specifically a Round of 32 game on June 29 and a Round of 16 match on July 4, 2026. With its retractableroof, it has hosted massive USA vs Mexico friendlies and multiple Concacaf Gold Cupmatches.

Levi’s Stadium

San Francisco

Levi’s Stadium is set to host 6 games, including one knock-out round game. Levis Stadium just the hosted of Super Bowl 60 this February.

Levi's Stadium is in Santa Clara, California, just west of San Jose. Visitors staying in San Francisco will have approximated an hour drive to the Stdaium.

Lincoln Financial Field

Philladelphia

Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia will host a total of six matches during the World Cup. The schedule includes five group-stage matches and one Round of 16 knockout game on July 4th.

Despite being the home of the Eagles, its first ever event was a 2003 preseason friendly between Manchester United and Barcelona.

Lumen Field

Seattle

Lumen Field in Seattle will host six matches during in 2026. The schedule includes four group-stage matches (including the U.S. Men's National Team on June 19, 2026), one Round of 32 match, and one Round of 16 match.

As the home field of MLS team the Seattle Sounders, Lumen Field is no stranger to high stakes soccer.

Gillette Stadium

Boston

Gillette Stadium hosted several 1994 World Cup matches including Diego Maradona's final World Cup goal vs Greece.

The schedule includes five group stage matches, one round of 32 match on June 29, and a quarterfinal match on July 9, 2026

Hard Rock Stadium

Miami

Hard Rock Stadium has hosted multiple El Clasico friendlies between Barcelona and Real Madrid. They also have hosted the 2024 Copa América final.

For 2026 they will host seven matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including the 3rd place match.

3 VENUES

Mexico

Mexico will have 3 of the 16 venues for the 2026 World Cup. The most famous of those stadiums being the Estadio Azteca, that holds 83,000 people.

Mexico City Stadium

Mexico City

The only stadium in history to host two men's World Cup finals. They were 1970: Brazil 4-1 win over italywith Pele's third title & 1986: Argentina 3-2 win over West Germany.  The iconic Diego Maradona "Hand of God" goal vs. England was scored at this stadium in the 1986 quarterfinals.

Lastly, it will play host to the opening match of this years World Cup between Mexico and South Africa

Estadio Akron

Guadalajara

Estadio Akron in Guadalajara, Mexico, will host four group stage matches during the 2026 tournament. All four games are in the group stage.

It has previously hosted World Cup semifinals in both 1970 (Brazil 3-1 Uruguay) and 1986 (West Germany 2-0 France).

Estadio BBVA

Monterrey

Estadio BBVA will host four matches during the 2026 World Cup. The venue is often called "El Gigante de Acero,"and will stage three group stage matches and one Round of 32 knockout match.

It also hosted Mexico's last World Cup quarterfinal appearance in 1986, where they lost on penalties! What a heartbreaker that must of been for fans.

Canada

Canada will have just 2 of the 16 venues for the 2026 World Cup.

BMO Field

Toronto

BMO Field in Toronto will host six World Cup 26 matches, consisting of five group-stage games and one round-of-32 knockout match. These include Canada's opener versus against a TBD team on June 12th.

Its 45,000 seat capacity makes this the smallest venue of the tournament!

BC Place

Vancouver

BC Place in Vancouver will host seven matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including five group-stage games and two knockout matches. The schedule features two Canadian men’s national team group games on June 18 and June 24.

All 3 of Canada's group matches will be in Canada, which is nice for fans.
