It is looking like this weekend may bring rain, in addition to potential heat advisories in parts of Southern California. We are monitoring the weather forecasts and will continue to do so throughout the weekend.

To best prepare for any field closures, please read our procedures below: 

  • 1) Most importantly, clubs must communicate with their Parks & Rec, or field district to keep an updated status on their fields.
  • 2) If your field(s) have been closed, immediately email schedulers@coastsoccer.com to report the closure.
  • 3) If a field is closed, and once CSL has been alerted, the teams involved will receive an email from CSL Schedulers that the game is cancelled
  • 4) You can also check the "Field Status" page to see if the field is CLOSED, and/or the “Field Directions” page on the MOBILE APP will also show CLOSED.

 
If none of the above, proceed to the field, where the referee and/or Field Authority/Club will be monitoring the field condition throughout the day, and make the call depending on amount of rain. The key is good communication!
