OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH. It's a collaboration of national public service organizations, professional medical associations and government agencies that work together to promote breast cancer awareness, share information on the disease and provide greater access to services. And though many great strides have been made in breast cancer awareness and treatment, there remains much to be accomplished. Coast Soccer League, along with many other sports organizations, show their support by wearing pink.

BREAST CANCER NEEDS TO BE DEFEATED!!!! Last year clearly demonstrated why CSL is proud of the effort that teams have made to support an important initiative.

Last YEAR Coast Soccer League teams purchased over 5000 pairs of pink socks and proudly wore them in every game in the month of October. Through their efforts we raised over $12,500 for the SUSAN G. KOMEN FUND. The team SHOW US YOUR PINK photos were published on our Facebook page as well as in the Gallery on the CSL App.

We are once again asking players to join in the effort this year by wearing PINK as part of your uniforms on the field in the month of October.

And if it's socks you want, we've made it easy for you to wear Pink again, With our partner XARA, we have arranged to offer PINK SOCCER SOCKS for only $10.95 a pair. The PINK HOOPED Socks retail for $16 a pair. $2.50 of every pair sold will go to the SUSAN G. KOMEN FUND.

Please join with CSL and make all 750 CSL Fields totally PINK in October. Together we can make a difference!

And to top it off teams that submit their Get Your Pink On team photos between October 1 and October 15, will be eligible to win special social media prizes culminating with the top prize -- a League Cup Day on the CSL Victory Bus. The luxury bus will meet your team (players, coaches and parents) at your home field and transport you to your League Cup matches. Breakfast will be served on the way, lunch between games and a snack for the ride home. Click HERE for info on submitting your photo.

Socks will be mailed to the team manager before October 1. There is a minimum order of 8 pairs and orders must be completed by September 24.
